Caroline Boyfield is a French-British visual artist living and working in Brittany since 2018. Her works are part of public and private collections in the UK, France, Ireland, India, and the United States.

Caroline favours a multidisciplinary approach to topics related to our complex relationship with nature, while exploring the emotional and psychological resonances in our collective discourse around our relationship with the natural environment.

By making intuitive marks, adding and subtracting, tearing and juxtaposing different elements, the artist uses a range of materials to express in fragments her experience of life and her connection to the natural world. The creative process is a way for her to bring together a biodiversity of techniques, to experiment, adapt, evolve, and create fleeting moments where nothing is closed and everything remains possible, where experience and memory come together to create meaning and potential for growth.
